About Millie Gaitán

I believe therapy should feel safe, clear, and useful from the start. I am Millie Gaitán, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 13 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and couples. In Twin Falls, I see school‑age children and teens, as well as couples, in person. I also provide telehealth for adults anywhere in Idaho.

My approach combines warmth with practical tools. We will talk about what brings you in, set goals you can understand, and practice skills you can use between sessions. I draw from CBT, DBT, ACT, mindfulness, and play therapy for children. I am trained in EMDR for trauma processing and in the Gottman Method Levels I and II for couples work. These methods help with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship stress, and other challenges that affect daily life.

I also offer therapy in English or Spanish. Many families face stigma around mental health. I take care to explain what to expect, to answer questions, and to move at a pace that feels comfortable. You can expect a calm, respectful space where your culture and values are welcome. Together, we work to shift patterns that no longer serve you and to support changes that last.
